what to avoid to increase your chances of getting pregnant

Unfortunately not every is blessed with ease of getting pregnant, for most couples it can be stressful and tiring and just not a pleasant process. Unfortunately there’s no easy fix or do it yourself plan out there to get you pregnant, but through women’s health experts and fertility specialists we’ve managed to gather together some of the best ways to increase your chances at getting pregnant.

Caffeine – Caffeine isn’t universally confirmed as a link to fertility, but reputable studies have suggested that caffeine can increase the chance of a miscarriage or stunt the growth of an egg, when it comes to getting pregnant I think coffee can be an easy thing to give up if it’s going to help.

Alcohol – Some say women giving up drinking entirely can increase their chances of conception where others say women who drink moderately can increase their chances. When it comes down to the experts though they say women who give up alcohol completely once conception has already happened, they will increase their chances of a healthy baby, and that alone should be enough of a reason to quit the drink.

Tobacco – Smoking has been proven time and time again to be the cause of infertility or developing fetus. We all know it’s hard to quit but there is help out there to help you stop.

Move around – As easy as it may be to do, don’t just sit around all day being a couch potato! Move around, go for a walk, do the garden. Experts say that women who stick around their ideal weight not only have a better chance of getting pregnant, but also have a reduced risk of ovulation disorders which can lead to infertility.

Stress – As its much easier said than done to become less stressful, with the stress of trying to conceive being one of the main causes of stress. Try and keep calm and positive, a stressful environment is never healthy any time, if work seems to be stressing you out, speak to your boss to see if there are any arrangements that can be made, speak to your partner about ways they can help at home to reduce stress. And to activities that you enjoy and that can relax you.
